This bachelor thesis focuses on the problematic and contemporary trends of welded joints in engineering. The work is elaborated in the form of literary recherché, the main part compares the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the manufacture of the welded joints in the chosen technologies. The work describes principles and machines used in the manufacture of welded connection in the technology given. Furthermore, the work is focused on the non-traditional methods of welding in engineering. Lastly, the work evaluates the advantage, disadvantage and the possibilities of the use of the individual technologies in engineering.

Využití metody svařování v ochranné atmosféře aktivního plynu ve strojírenské praxi

The aim of this bachelor thesis is joining metals by welding, namely metal active gas welding. The first part is dedicated to different methods of welding in engineering practice and describes the best-known methods and principles in detail. The second part focuses on the selected welding process. It explains the principle of the method, metal transfer from the electrode to the parent material and describes the welding equipment used for this method. The final part deals with filler materials, active gases and parent materials used in practice.
